About theOklahoma LotteryNet proceeds ofall Lottery games are used to support improvements and enhancements forOklahoma education. More than $357 million has been contributed to educationsince November 2005 with funds directed to common education career andtechnical education and to the higher education capital bond issue through theOklahoma Education Lottery Trust Fund (OELTF). The Oklahoma Legislatureappropriates the OELTF. Proceeds areused statewide to supplement existing funds for a variety of importanteducation purposes including teacher compensation and benefits earlychildhood development programs college scholarships classroom technology andconstruction of educational facilities.
