CAPE MAY AND PASSAIC COUNTY WINNERS
SPLIT $268,952 JERSEY CASH 5 JACKPOT

TRENTON, NJ – (January 26, 2010) – The two owners of Jersey Cash 5 jackpot tickets that were sold in Cape May and Passaic Counties have split the top prize of $ 268,952 for the Jersey Cash 5 drawing held on Monday, January 25. Each winning ticket is worth $134,476.

Acting Executive Director Steven Palmieri said the winning tickets were the only two sold for Mondays drawing that matched all five numbers drawn. The winning numbers were: 09, 11, 12, 16 and 32.

The Cape May County ticket was purchased at The Gem Grocery and Gas, located at 366 Main Street in South Seaville . The Passaic County ticket was sold at Village News, located at 401 Piaget Avenue in Clifton.

“We are thrilled that the winning jackpot tickets were sold at The Gem Grocery and Gas and Village News, said Acting Executive Director Palmieri. “For selling these tickets, each of these businesses will receive a bonus check for $750. Overnight, these retailers have become two more ‘lucky locations for some very fortunate winners.

Palmieri also noted that 4,551 other players won $105,242 in cash prizes in the drawing. For correctly picking four numbers, 109 players won cash prizes of $558.00 each, and for correctly matching three numbers, 4,442 players won $10.00 each.
