Nh lottery executive director rick wisler to retire

(Concord NH)  The New Hampshire Lottery Commission has announced that executive director Rick Wisler will be retiring after nearly 15 years at the position.

 

Its with great affection and regret that we announce Ricks retirement after 34 years with the NH Lottery¯ said Richard Campbell chairman of NH Lottery Commission.  Rick has been a dedicated leader and innovator making NHs lottery one of the most successful in the country.  Hell be deeply missed.¯

 

Im so proud to have been associated with the staff of the NH Lottery for these many years.  Weve seen sales increase steadily and weve brought new lottery products to our customers.  I know Im leaving the lottery in good hands¯ said Wisler. 

 

Wislers last day at the post will be February 25th 2010.  He has been one of the longest serving lottery directors in the country.  Wisler plans to seek opportunities in the private sector unrelated to the lottery industry.

 

The Commission will begin an extensive search for Ricks replacement immediately¯ said Campbell.

 

Since 1964 the New Hampshire Lottery has had a significant financial impact on the state.  For the past 45 years the New Hampshire Lottery has recorded $4.1 billion in lottery sales and other earnings with $2.7 billion being paid in prizes and other cost of sales. Net proceeds to education to date total more than $1.3 billion.
