Dover DE -- The Delaware Lottery kicked its tires and revved the motor today before rolling out for its Summer Road Trip 09 (www.delottery.com/roadtrip). The first two pit stops along the Lotterys summer-long journey of fun take place this week as the Clifford Brown Jazz Festival bops into Wilmingtons Rodney Square and June Jam rocks the G & R campground in Houston. The Lottery will attend both events on Saturday June 20 and plans to cruise through 18 stops around the state between now and August 22 spreading smiles free gifts and a chance to win prizes along the way.

Seaford Dewey Beach Rehoboth Beach Newark Harrington and Lewes are also among the Road Trips scheduled pit stops between today and August 22. Patrons who stop by the Delaware Lottery Pit Stop at select Summer Road Trip events will be chosen at random to win one of fifty Delaware Lottery Road Trip Prize Passes. Prize Pass winners receive a Prize Pack (value $50) and will be entered for a chance to win the Delaware Lottery Road Trip Grand Prize.
