GRAND JUNCTION TICKET WINS $1 MILLION POWERBALL PRIZE

DENVER One lucky ticket sold in Grand Junction won $1 million in Wednesdays Powerball drawing. The ticket holder earned the $1 million prize by matching five numbers and selecting the Power Play option for an additional $1. The ticket was purchased at Horizon Drive Shell 745 Horizon Drive Grand Junction. The store will receive $3000 for selling the $1 millionwinning ticket. The winning numbers for Wednesdays Powerball drawing were 4 36 40 44 52 and the Powerball number was 33.

This is the second time this year that a player in Colorado has won $1 million on Powerball. A ticket sold in Wheat Ridge won $1 million in the March 13th drawing. Last year seven tickets sold in Colorado earned a $1 million winning Powerball prize. The $1 million winner from Wednesdays drawing has not come forward yet to claim the prize.

Because no one hit the $125.3 million Powerball jackpot the jackpot will rise to an estimated $150 million for Saturdays jackpot. That jackpot is worth approximately $72.4 million in cash.
