LotoQuebecs Zone dessais sportifs will be back again this year at the Claude&8209;Robillard Sports Complex. Visitors will havean opportunity to test their skills at some of the sports presented by Defi Sportif including sledge hockey wheelchair basketballwheelchair fencing and hand cycling. A second Zone dessais sportifs will be installed at the Pierre&8209;Charbonneau Centre onSaturday May 1st and at Saint&8209;Michel Arena on Sunday May 2nd. Sports guides will also be available at a number of competitionevents to answer spectator questions.
LotoQuebec is inviting all Montrealers to come and cheer on the 3200 athletes who will participate in Defi Sportif. Onenot&8209;to&8209;be&8209;missed event is the World Hockey Championship for Amputee Athletes with finals taking place at 130 p.m. on Sunday May 2ndat Saint&8209;Michel Arena.

Defi Sportif is an enriching human experience that encourages the practice of sports and energizes the handicapped. More than900 volunteers contribute to the success of Defi Sportif by lending a hand to the athletes trainers schools associationsand sports clubs.
