Maxmillion winner waits eight months to claim jackpot

Surrey resident Gagandeep LudduSidhu decided eight months was long enough to wait before claiming her $1 Million prize.

When asked why she waited the 29yearold LudduSidhu said My husband and I first had to start shopping for a new house.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Guildford Mall Lottery Retailer. The experience of telling her husband about her $1 Million MAXMILLION win is something she will never forget.

I called my husband at work as soon as I heard the music start playing on the checkaticket machine said LudduSiddu. He didnt believe me and told me he had to go and would call me back later.

In addition to new house plans LudduSidhu says they will most likely enjoy some of the money and invest the rest.

Todays LOTTO MAX jackpot is an estimated $43 Million.
