Highfive for cool coal miner
– Elko resident Gary Dixon is one cool customer judging from the 48yearolds reaction to winning a $1 Million MAXMILLION prize in last Fridays LOTTO MAX draw.
I heard that someone in Fernie had won explains Dixon. My mother and I had purchased our tickets at the same time so I went to her house to tell her to check her ticket. On the way I stopped and checked my own on the selfchecker which showed a $1000000 win. The clerk asked what Id won and I casually replied Oh just a million. She took the ticket and checked it again for me then gave me a big high five.
Sure enough Dixon who works at a coal mine had managed to match 7/7 numbers on the April 8 LOTTO MAX draw to win one of 24 MAXMILLION prizes available.
Its pretty exciting said the married father of two. We can now pay off our rental property and buy the lot beside it. We can also pay off all our debts and Id like to buy a new truck. Well give a little to each of our parents and the rest is going in the bank.
Dixon purchased his lucky ticket at the Stop & Shop in Fernie.
With no ticket winning last Fridays $50 Million LOTTO MAX jackpot the games top prize has been carried over to this Fridays draw which also features an estimated 39 MAXMILLION prizes of $1 Million each giving players 39 more opportunities to win a jackpot prize with each ticket.
LOTTO MAX can be played at all BCLC retail locations and online at PlayNow.com with tickets available for sale until 600 p.m. (PDT) on draw day (Friday). Winning numbers can be found online at bclc.com following each draw.
