2009/10 accountability report

Moncton N.B. It has been a busy year for Atlantic Lottery. We introduced our new national game Lotto MAX. We rebranded Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at Charlottetown Driving Park. We opened the doors to Red Shores at Summerside Raceway. And we launched our destination sites Coasters in New Brunswick.

Because we are owned by the four Atlantic Governments and we are the only legal provider of lottery products in this region we operate in an environment of unparalleled responsibility transparency and certainty. This makes us well positioned to meet the evolving needs of our players in a way no other operator can.

 

We make good on our commitments and deliver sound financial performance year after year. Last year over $389 million went to the Provinces of Nova Scotia New Brunswick Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador.

Highlights

  • The launch of Lotto MAX our new national game with bigger jackpots and more million dollar prizes.
  • Launching the Red Shores and Coasters brands the next steps in destination gaming.
  • Supporting the 2009 Canada Games on Prince Edward Island to the tune of $1.1 million.
  • Supporting over 400 sponsorships and events throughout Atlantic Canada totalling close to $1.7 million.  We also said thank you to 245 community groups throughout Atlantic Canada as part of our Community Fan Club.
