How to Play Atlantic 49 at Retail

Atlantic 49 can be played on its own or with Lotto 6/49 and has its own draw every Wednesday and Saturday. For each $1 Atlantic 49 wager, you will receive two PLAYS. Each PLAY consists of six numbers that will be randomly-selected from all numbers between 1 through 49. When you ask for Atlantic 49, your two sets of six numbers are eligible to win in the upcoming draw. Play it on its own:

To play by selection slip, select at least one set of six numbers, between 1 and 49. You can select numbers by placing a vertical mark in six different boxes. If only one board is completed on the slip, the computer will select the second set of numbers. You can play up to 3 wagers on one ticket.

Or

You can ask your retailer for an Insta Pik and play up to 10 wagers on one ticket.

When you play Atlantic 49 on its own, either by selection slip or Insta Pik, you can add TAG to each wager.

Play it with Lotto 6/49:

To play by selection slip, indicate how many $1 Atlantic 49s you wish to play by completing the Atlantic 49 board on your Lotto 6/49 selection slip. To play by Insta Pik let your retailer know how many $1 Atlantic 49s you wish to play on your Lotto 6/49 ticket. When you play Atlantic 49 with Lotto 6/49 the Atlantic 49 numbers are computer generated.

You can play up to 10 $1 Atlantic 49s on each Lotto 6/49 ticket.

Every Wednesday and Saturday, at approximately 10 p.m. Atlantic Time, the Atlantic Lottery Corporation (ALC) draws six regular numbers and one bonus number from a field of numbers 1 through 49 for Atlantic 49. Each draw is conducted using a ball machine located at ALCs head office in Moncton, New Brunswick.

How to Play Atlantic 49 in PlaySphere

To play Atlantic 49 online you ll need to sign up for PlaySphere. You must register for an account and have your information verified to ensure that you live in Atlantic Canada and that you are at least 19 years of age or older. After you have been verified, you can access your PlaySphere account.

Before playing online, you will need to add funds to your account. This can be done via debit card (Bank of Nova Scotia, Royal Bank, Bank of Montreal, and TD Bank), credit card (MasterCard and Visa only), electronic funds transfer (EFT) or WebCash, which can be purchased from your local ALC retailer. Once your account has been funded, all you have to do is click the Draw Games logo and then the Lotto Atlantic 49 logo on the games page.

For $1, select two sets of six numbers from 1 to 49. You can click individual numbers to select your own numbers. If you click the Insta Pik button, a set of six numbers will be computer generated.

For each TAG play, you will receive one randomly chosen six-digit number ranging from 100,000 to 699,999. To play TAG, click "yes, please add," then select your desired number of plays. You can play up to 10 times with the purchase of Lotto 6/49. Your TAG numbers will be visible in your Account Statement once your wager is completed. Advance Play

The Advance Play feature gives you the opportunity to play each of your selections for up to 10 consecutive draws. If you select your own numbers, these same numbers will be used for each of your advance plays. If you use Insta Pik to select your numbers, you will receive a separate set of randomly generated numbers for each draw. If you selected Insta Pik, new separate Atlantic 49 numbers will be generated for each of your Advance Plays. To purchase advance plays, select your desired number of draws.

Wager Purchasing and Status

Once you confirm your wager, it will remain in a “Pending” status until it displays as “Completed” in your Transaction Detail (accessible from your Account Statement). Your wager is not considered to be an official ticket until the status is ”Completed”. Once your wager is completed, any TAG numbers will be visible in your Account Statement.

Message Centre: When you login to your account, be sure to check out your Message Center for wins, updates and other important information. To keep your Message Centre current, when you logout of your account, the current messages will be cleared and next time you login new messages, if any, will be visible.

Odds of winning any prize are 1 in 27. All odds are approximate.

All Atlantic 49 prizes are fixed prizes and do not roll, or grow in size.

Atlantic 49’s $1,000,000 top prize is shared when there are multiple match 6 of 6 winners in one draw.
